Education: India’s Achilles Heel

Your Lok Sabha Application form is not funny. It is realistic, at least for most of the candidates today. However, optimist that I am, I believe that in another five years, we are going to see a change. There seems to be resovle among a section of the young today to change things by actually standing for election. We have in the last election seen a few of these brave young people recognised and elected to office. They are all educated, articulate, have a world view of things and seem determined to root out the corruption and rot that their fathers were responsible for. We can only hope now that they live up to their own stated dreams.
